I would like one.
In my opinion, Kaffe Fassett and a few others can do this bridght work, but it other hands it looks dreadful.viridianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07938256248645774087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5259952795997957550.post-90916040568624398942009-10-06T13:41:15.163-05:002009-10-06T13:41:15.163-05:00I'm not a wonky quilter either, but I could se...I'm not a wonky quilter either, but I could see it being fun and liberating for a quick quilt project.

I think some of the profusion of colors that are appearing in quilts these days might have to do with the popularity of Kaffe Fassett. He has a knack for putting together all kinds of brights in the same quilt. I don't see me ever going that route but, one thing I have learned in quilting is to never say "never". :-)Auntie Emhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03842066298771324417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5259952795997957550.post-31242052839119636812009-10-06T12:38:03.928-05:002009-10-06T12:38:03.928-05:00I'm sure your quilt looks beautiful Lane. I can't for the life of me cut something wonky on purpose.. I do it enough not on purpose *LOL* There was a speaker at one of our guild meetings who makes patterns. She's from Korea. When she learned to quilt the school that she went to had everyone do all work by hand and be unerringly perfect. She got tired of being perfect so she is one of the ones who designs patterns that don't match on purpose. She also will take a quilt she's made, cut it in a few pieces and put it back together again. Her effect is quite nice but I don't believe I have the eye to do that sort of thing. To each his/her own I feel.Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15778110892578808447noreply@blogger.com
