Gotta tell you, though, that after you referenced using the bathroom off the boat and then you called it an aluminum "John" boat, I giggled right out loud.Vesuviusmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08447649002367621196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5259952795997957550.post-11379625956583908832011-06-11T00:47:19.674-05:002011-06-11T00:47:19.674-05:00In today's fast life people don't have eno...In today's fast life people don't have enough time for enjoy with family. You are so lucky that you spend time with your father. Fishing with Dad is such wonderful experience. We learn many things from our father while spending time with him. Pop worked long hours, and we were usually in bed before he got home, but that night we were allowed to stay up and watch TV. I was 4. When we heard the car, Mom lifted me up onto the kitchen sink so I could see out the window. He pulled up and waved, and there was a little white dog leaping on the seat beside him. We didn't know he was bringing a dog; my brother and sisters were so excited when I yelled that he had a puppy with him! God, I miss my Pop.lwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08731797783816953087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5259952795997957550.post-40163017883946803522011-06-08T22:27:43.246-05:002011-06-08T22:27:43.246-05:00Every Way Back Wednesday I realize how much we hav...Every Way Back Wednesday I realize how much we have in common.

My favorite childhood memory involves my dad, fishing, and eating breakfast (a bowl of Cheerios) while sitting on the tailgate of our old White Oldsmobile Station Wagon.

We too caught a bunch of fish that day, but we couldn't eat any of them.
