Honestly, I won’t send you to links very often unless it’s something we made. But, I saw Apple’s Misunderstood commercial last night, and as I wept, and my child watched me in astonishment, I knew this was my blog post for the day.
I have to remember. Just because it looks bad doesn’t always mean it is bad. Sometimes, it’s just my kid expressing herself.

Thank you!
And, thank you for being you. We all learn a bit more about ourselves because of you.

This was really sweet-- I like that his family didn't get on his case for being on the phone, even though it looked like he was checking out.
I'm hoping for a white Christmas, I loved the kids making snow angels.
I saw this a few days ago, and loved it...my vote for the years best commercial.
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I often think, with all the pain of the last 13 years, that I have no tears left, but this brought tears - the good kind, the tears we shed over beautiful things. I saw one the other day that I really wish I had tried to capture on my rinky dink little digital camera's video - at first I thought it was Anheuser-Busch because it was horses pulling a sled through an old-fashioned town but it was not. Of course, I cannot remember what company made it, but it was just a Merry Christmas message. Oh, so simple and sweet. My all-time favorite, heart-wrenching commercial was the Anheuser-Busch one when those magnificent horses (truly one of God's miracles) knelt towards the site of the Twin Towers, after 9-11. I have goose bumps just writing about it. It is on You Tube if you have not seen it.
Yup, I saw this one when it aired. I was at the sewing machine and it stopped me and gave me a few tears. It's wonderful that Syd saw your reaction. It just adds to the layers for her of who her Dad really is.
Thanks for sharing the commercial again with us, and yes I kind of got wet eyes again watching it for the second time.
By now it's Friday and I have read your Friday post. Hope you have a great lunch out etc with your work folks.
Thanks for sharing this. I usually leave the room during ads, other things to do. So I missed this one and it is worth watching. Merry to you and yours.
