Here's block 11 in the cmas quilt. The dizzy snowman. So, dizzy, in fact, that his head has fallen off. There are lots of buttons and eyes and details to add, but I've been saving those for last. Not sure why. That just means that I'm going to have to go back and do a lot of embroidery, but, hey, the best projects never end, eh?
Well, today, after the grocery, I'm taking Sydney for a haircut. yippee. My fav way to spend an hour on a Sunday. But, it's a low chore day, so there should be a good bit of fun. I could either start block 12 (which I should do), or I could start cutting up shirts for the box quilt that Nancy-Rose was working on, or I could keep putzing with this stupid computer.
What will my priority be. You'll have to wait until later to find out :-). Take care and we'll see ya round. Lane

I know that old computer story. All mine looks different too, hard to get used to. I like your snowman block, can't wait to see the embroidery.

I agree.. I want to see Sydney's new haircut. They all of a sudden look so grown up when they go into jr high. I had to get a new computer too, it has Window's Vista on it and I'm getting used to it but I sure miss XP. My Christmas quilt.. which I still haven't finished a year later.. isn't going to get it's buttons and stuff til after I've quilted it. Your snowman is cute but the quilt will have to come with an R rating because of violence LOL
When I have problems with my computer I call on my son, he is in the progamming business, so I don't have all of the frustrations you are experiencing. Can't wait to see your cmas quilt, this block is cute. Have a great day. Patricia
