Class went swimmingly

Yes, I was nervous and no, I didn't need to be. We all worked hard, I talked and we practiced, I quilted, they quilted, I gave pointers. I think I said everything I intended to say, even if some of it didn't get as much discussion time as I wanted. Seemed some things were more interesting than others. Maybe some of what I said was too basic. Some of it might be more interesting next week.

The brownies weren't quite done enough, so they got left home for us to eat and I took easter candy. When free-motion quilting, they all popped chocolate eggs. That made me feel good.

The shop owners laughed at all we brought, including the things that didn't come into the shop because I ended up not needing them. It really was like watching the Beverly Hillbillies.

I am happy. I am tired. I have stuff strewn from one end of this house to the other and all of it needs to be put away.

My feet hurt. I might take a rare night off quilting.

Unless I need fingerwork to keep me awake.

Pictures tomorrow

I'm glad it went great, too! I know exactly what you mean with taking way too much. I do that nearly every time I venture out of my own house to do any quilting activity.

Just how I imagined it!!! Oh, and how I love the "sweet tooth of the teacher" bit!!! ;)

I sure thought about you enough today, it had to go well!!! I am one who would need all the basic stuff!!

See all that worry for nothing.

A little quote for ya
The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a Heaven of Hell and a hell of heaven. ~John Milton~

We all do it to ourselves don't we.
Glad the class was a success!
