Can you feel the magic?

I can't really believe this quilt is coming together so well. Just a little idea that I had and look what it has turned into.

Okay, now off to do some piecing for me! Whoohee!

Then, it's our last pretty day before a big freeze and I want to clean up the back yard, cut back the already dead stuff and the stuff that won't survive the week and do the same in the neighbor's bed that we take care of.

And, then I can sew some more.

Whoohee!

Lane

Okay, that might be enough coffee for the morning. I fear I might actually say whoohee and scare somebody. They're not used to excitement this early in the morning.

I am impressed. I made the orange peel quilt and loved all that piecing. Did you design this one yourself? I love it.

Stunning quilt! I hope whoever receives this one will treasure it and take extremely good care of it! You should publish a book with your quilts and some patterns!

Looks great, Lane! And yeah, whoohee might be a bit much for 7 AM. My hubby was away last night so I let my youngest sleep in my bed (univited, but I found him there when I came up from sewing, but he's too darned heavy to carry up to his room). When my alarm went off at 7 AM, he sat straight up and yelled, "Today's the day!" (we went rollerskating) Me, I hit snooze and told him to go back to sleep and give me 9 more minutes.
